The Perspective Enterprise Video Broadcast Research Center at WuFeng University was established in 2009. The mission of research center is to engage in perspective research and development activities for achieving academic /industry cooperation and for producing video and multimedia-related technologies that can support existing as well as emerging video broadcast, multimedia information and networking applications, and to transfer technology to local industries in Taiwan and remote areas.

The Research Center for Secluded and Minority Group (CSMG)was established to assist the National Project of “Creating Digital Opportunity for Secluded Area” granted by the Executive Yuan. Projects with a total budget of 30 million dollars were conducted by the CSMG center.

A project to assist the development of Digital Opportunity Centers in Chia-Yi County was consecutively made in the recent two years. Information techniques were successfully introduced into secluded and minority people. The utilization of information techniques to create and promote local business was also undertaken.

2. To help local government to establish business with local cultural characteristics.
3. To provide information courses for unemployed Middle aged group.
4. To promote the information techniques for the conservation of local culture and history.

In order to enhance the research development and teaching effort of Safety and Security Engineering College, the Safety and Security Technology Applied Research Center is established in August, 2009. The Center integrates teaching manpower and facility of every department and graduate study of the College to promote studies and outside production services.

The purposes of the Center are to develop the skills of safety and security technology and management. It provides the practices of community fire prevention. Security and Care Skill, and production service. It combines academic and produce sectors to create the research development and practice ability of the faculty and students.

Security system technology. Security management, and Crime prevention. Each field comes with a Preside and certain professionals.
