History

The College of Tourism and Hospitality was established in 2011.

Student Population

The College is consisted of 2,635 students, including 1,739 students in regular programs, 463 in the night program, and 463 in the weekend program.

Faculty

The College is consisted of 51 faculty members in total, including: 2 professors, 17 associate professors, 20 assistant professors,12 lecturers. Assistant professors and those who are ranked above comprise up to 29.13 percent of the faculty.

Goal

To educate students to become professionals who value life and possess humanistic disposition, tourism ,creativity, and work ethics.

Focus

Tourism and Hospitality, recreation, tourism and health care.

Features
  1. Theory and practice are emphasized equally. Students are expected to apply what they learn to their senior projects.
  2. Service learning is highly valued. Students are expected to develop good attitudes toward community service by participating in voluntary work.
  3. Community service and collaboration with local industries are emphasized.
Future Prospects
  1. Integrating curriculum design: Design professional and practical curriculum.
  2. Integrating teaching: Promote the quality of teaching
  3. Collaboration with industries: Strengthen collaboration with industries and enhance the quantity and quality of collaboration projects with industries.
  4. Improving students’ competitiveness in the marketplace: Develop humanistic disposition and professional knowledge; enhance fundamental core abilities and competitiveness in the marketplace.
